We process our users' personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. The legal basis is generally Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
3. Hosting and server log files
When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser used). This data is used exclusively for the technical provision and security of the website and is not combined with other data sources.
4. No cookies, no tracking
We do not use any cookies for analytics or marketing purposes on this website, and we do not use any analytics or tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel).
5. Fonts
The fonts used on this website are hosted locally. When you visit the page, no connection is made to servers operated by Google or other font providers, so no data is transmitted for this purpose.
6. Google Maps
To display our location, we embed the map provided by Google Maps, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). When you access the "Location" page, this establishes a connection to Google's servers, which may transmit your IP address, among other things – regardless of whether you interact with the map. 7. Online booking via eviivo
For availability checks and online bookings, we embed the booking system of our service provider eviivo Ltd. via an iframe. Simply loading the "Booking" page already establishes a connection to eviivo's servers (via.eviivo.com) and transmits your IP address to eviivo, regardless of whether you make a booking. If you submit a booking request through this window, the data you enter (e.g. name, contact details, payment data, travel dates) is additionally transmitted directly to eviivo as an independent provider and processed there, not via our own servers. The booking window may also set its own cookies that are technically necessary for the booking process; eviivo is responsible for these. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures or the accommodation contract), or, for simply loading the window, Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning booking option). eviivo's own Privacy Policy also applies.
